Information Architecture Example
Working on a cross-functional team we often need to create documentation that helps to establish standards to keep everyone on the same page.
In this particular case the team was running into an issue agreeing upon how the content on our site is categorized, so that it was easier to make decisions in regards to how certain pages are treated visually.
The team needed an artifact that not only offers a high level view of the how our site’s content is categorized, but also how each of those categories is defined.
This is the artifact I created as presented and stored in a common area for all team members to access when needed. Considered a working document, its layout and content are continually changing and evolving as our work continues.
